​Sudanese Voices Satu/ 16th /May ​The voluntary medical project for prosthetic limbs was launched in Port Sudan at the *Al-Mulhim* *Prosthetics Center* in the Transit area. The project is supported by the *King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief* ) in cooperation with the *Efaa Association for the Care of Persons with Disabilities* . It took place amidst broad officials and the community attending with the participation of a specialized Saudi volunteer medical team. ​The inauguration ceremony included the distribution of prosthetic limbs to beneficiaries, in an emotional humanitarian scene that reflected the project’s importance in supporting and rehabilitating people with disabilities, helping them regain their mobility and reintegrate into society. ​The Director of the Al-Mulhim Prosthetics Center emphasized that the project represents a qualitative addition to the rehabilitation and care services provided to beneficiaries. He praised the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSRELIEF, commending the choice of Sudan to implement this specialized project for the first time. ​Meanwhile, the representative of the Nazir (Paramount Chief) of the Amarar tribe praised Saudi Arabia's humanitarian stances, stressing that the Kingdom has always stood by the Sudanese people under various circumstances. He added that the project directly addresses the needs of an important segment of citizens and contributes to alleviating their suffering, reflecting the deep brotherly relations between the Sudanese and Saudi peoples. ​Ms. Ilham Idris Qasmallah, Director General of the Social Development Sector in the Red Sea State, also praised the continuous support provided by the Kingdom in the fields of development and humanitarian services. She emphasized that the project provides real support to the beneficiaries and helps them regain their normal lives. ​For his part, Ambassador Ali bin Hassan Jaafar explained that the project carries a profound humanitarian message that goes beyond the medical aspect, given its contribution to restoring hope and improving the lives of the beneficiaries. He reiterated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince *Mohammed bin Salman* to supporting and standing by Sudan during this phase. ​The Ambassador pointed out that such initiatives embody the values of solidarity and humanitarian cooperation, reflecting the strong fraternal ties between Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ​In the same context, the Governor of the Red Sea State, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, confirmed that KSrelief has consistently made significant contributions to the state, particularly in the sectors of health, education, and humanitarian services, noting the clear positive impact of the center's interventions on citizens' lives. ​The Governor of the Red Sea State expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Saudi Arabia and its wise leadership, as well as the role played by the Saudi Embassy in Sudan, extending his gratitude to the volunteer medical team involved in executing the project.
