The 9th Block of the( AlThawra) Umdorman, Some neighborhood witnessed a distressing incident when a young man climbed a high-voltage power tower, threatening to harm himself.
The scene reflects the immense psychological pressure many young people are enduring under current conditions.
Upon spotting the incident, emergency teams intervened immediately, cutting off the power supply to ensure everyone's safety.
They successfully managed to bring the young man down and rescue him without any injuries.
While this incident ended safely, it sheds light on the harsh psychological reality imposed by the war in Sudan. Citizens are living under the weight of constant anxiety and fears compounded by mounting economic and social pressures. Together, these factors have left deep scars, particularly on the youth who find themselves facing challenges that exceed their capacity to cope.
