Residents from the areas of Kazqil and Hamadi have accused army and police forces, along with tribal armed groups fighting alongside them, of carrying out attacks targeting villages and residential areas in recent days.
It is worth noting that these areas are rural, characterized by scattered villages that rely largely on pastoralism and agriculture.
According to circulating testimonies, these attacks included widespread looting of money and property, as well as the seizure of livestock, in addition to assaults on women and other physical violations Residents also pointed to either negligence by the controlling forces or their direct involvement in these incidents.
Meanwhile, field sources reported casualties among government forces and allied armed groups during clashes in the areas of Kazqil, Hamadi, and Alouba Dikr over the past two days, stating that territorial advances had been achieved.
Observers believe that the targeting of civilians and their property reflects a worrying deterioration in the security situation and indicates an expansion of the conflict to directly affect local communities.
