Khartoum State, through the Land Protection Authority, continue campaigns to remove encroachments in the Jabal Awliya area, having cleared around 3,288 violations as part of what they describe as efforts to regulate land use.
In contrast, these measures have sparked widespread controversy, with human rights organizations calling for intervention and warning of their social consequences.
Videos and field testimonies obtained by the [Sudanese Voices] have also shown the suffering of some affected residents, further intensifying the debate.
Amid this, calls are increasing for the issue to be addressed in a balanced manner that takes into account both humanitarian and legal aspects, while emphasizing the importance of avoiding escalating hate speech and preserving social cohesion.

تواصل سلطات ولاية الخرطوم، عبر جهاز حماية الأراضي، حملات إزالة التعديات في منطقة جبل أولياء، حيث أزالت نحو 3288 مخالفة، ضمن ما زكرت إنه جهود لتنظيم الأراضي.
في المقابل، أثارت هذه الإجراءات جدلًا واسعًا،، فيما دعت منظمات حقوقية إلى التدخل، محذّرة من تداعياتها الاجتماعية.
كما أظهرت مقاطع فيديو وشهادات ميدانية حصلت عليها [ أصوات السودانيين] معاناة عدد من السكان المتأثرين، ما زاد من حدة الجدل. وفي ظل ذلك، تتزايد الدعوات لمعالجة القضية بصورة متوازنة تراعي الجوانب الإنسانية والقانونية، مع التأكيد على أهمية تجنب تصاعد خطاب الكراهية والحفاظ على التماسك المجتمعي.
