U.S. President’s Advisor for African Affairs, Massad Boulos, announced that he held talks with the German Ambassador to the United States, Jens Hanefeld, focusing on preparations for the upcoming international conference on Sudan, scheduled to take place in Berlin in mid-April.
Boulos explained in a post on X that the meeting included in-depth discussions on key priorities, particularly enhancing humanitarian aid access to those affected, as well as advancing the political process toward a sustainable resolution to the crisis in Sudan.

أعلن مستشار الرئيس
الأمريكي لشؤون أفريقيا، مسعد بولس، أنه أجرى مباحثات مع السفير الألماني لدى الولايات المتحدة، ينس هانفيلد، تناولت الاستعدادات الجارية للمؤتمر الدولي المرتقب حول السودان، والمقرر عقده في العاصمة الألمانية برلين منتصف شهر أبريل الجاري.
وأوضح بولس، في منشور عبر منصة إكس، أن اللقاء شهد تبادلًا معمقًا للآراء بشأن أبرز الأولويات، وفي مقدمتها تعزيز وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى المتضررين، إلى جانب دفع المسار السياسي نحو حل مستدام للأزمة في السودان.
