The Sudan Founding Alliance praised the national initiative aimed at safeguarding the future of Sudanese secondary school students, commending its efforts to address the 2026 examination crisis.
In a statement, the alliance affirmed its support for the decision to suspend the exams in response to the initiative, blaming what it described as “obstructive” parties for undermining national efforts to find solutions to the crisis.
The statement called for stronger cooperation with international organizations to guarantee students’ rights and to ensure that within the coming years the examinations will be conducted in a safe and fair environment that upholds equal opportunities and protects educational rights.
The alliance also criticized what it described as the continued targeting of civilians and the worsening suffering caused by the war, stressing the need to continue national and humanitarian efforts to ease the hardships faced by those affected.
It further urged national forces to unite in defense of the rights of Sudanese citizens and confront what it called misinformation campaigns and media pressure.
The alliance renewed its support for any future arrangements that would ensure Sudanese secondary school examinations are organized in a fair and secure manner, emphasizing that education is a fundamental right and a national responsibility toward future generations.
The statement concluded by reaffirming the commitment to pursuing justice, restoring the rights of those affected, and building a more stable future for Sudan.
