The Director General of the Ministry of Education in South Darfur State,Professor Hafiz Ahmed Omar Suleiman confirmed that the Sudanese Certificate examinations will be held on their scheduled date, June 4, 2026, stressing that the ministry is continuing preparations to ensure the exams proceed smoothly.
Speaking at a press conference, he explained that the process of registering male and female students is still ongoing across various states, noting that the technical preparations related to the examinations have surpassed 95%, reflecting the ministry’s readiness to hold the exams on time.
In the same context, he revealed that arrangements are underway to reopen universities soon, pointing out that a number of
countries have expressed their readiness to provide scholarships for students in support of their educational journey.
The Director General also addressed the parents to promptly enroll their young people in schools, confirming that registration processes are continuing in various schools alongside the ministry headquarters as part of efforts to stabilize the educational process in the state.
