Drone Strike Targets Civilian Vehicles Between Abu Zabad and Al-Fula, Leaving Casualties

A tragic incident broke out on Saturday afternoon along the road connected the towns of Abu Zabad and Al-Fula in West Kordofan State, after two civilian vehicles were directly struck by a drone attack.
The strike resulted in the death of ten civilians, including eight children and two women, and left four others injured with different levels of severity. The wounded were transported to receive medical treatment.
According to a preliminary list of victims, most of the deceased were children, *the list* *includes٠٠* Rahma Amin Abdullah, Abdullah Amin Abdullah, Kanani Ghubush Hamad, Hanadi Ghubush Hamad, Mohammed Ahmed Adam, Zubeida Ibrahim Adam, Nazik Abdulrahim Abdullah, and Hamid Ghubush Hamad,
*in addition* *to* Halima Abdullah Farajallah and Hanadi Al-Haj Al-Zamzami. The injured include Ibrahim Adam Ahmed, Dahab Adam Ahmed, Amira Ibrahim Adam, and Aida Abdulrahman.
The incident sparked widespread anger and condemnation among local communities and activists, particularly amid confirmation that the victims were traveling in civilian vehicles and that children made up the majority of those killed.
Following the attack, human rights and humanitarian groups called for an urgent and independent investigation into the circumstances of the strike, accountability for those responsible, and immediate measures to protect civilians in conflict areas, as well as ensuring access for relevant teams to document the aftermath of the incident.
