Sudanese voices Friday/15th/may [Sudanese voices follow up] The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has announced the launch of an humanitarian air bridge between Jeddah and Port Sudan, aimed at speeding up the movement of its teams and strengthening the humanitarian response in Sudan. Patrick Youssef said the step will help ensure faster access to affected areas and improve the delivery of aid and protection more effectively. He also expressed appreciation to the Saudi and Sudanese authorities for facilitating the operation of the flights. The ICRC has been operating in Sudan since 1978 in cooperation with the Sudanese Red Crescent, working in areas such as health care, water services, family reunification, and the promotion of international humanitarian law.
