The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its astonishment and condemnation of statements made by the U.S. President’s Senior Advisor for African Affairs, Massad Boulos, in which he accused the Sudanese Armed Forces SAF of bombing El Daein Teaching Hospital in East Darfur
The Ministry stated that these accusations have misled both local and international public opinion and have harmed efforts to achieve peace and stability in the country.
It added that Boulos’s statements lack accuracy and objectivity, considering that they serve only the agenda of what it described as “regional sponsors of the terrorist (malishia) with referring to the Rapid Support Forces army RSF.
The Ministry also affirmed that making such statements
(recklessly) ,as it put it, removes Boulos from the circle of neutrality and integrity and places him in a position of clear bias against the Sudanese Armed Forces SAF.

أعربت وزارة الخارجية السودانية عن استهجانها واستنكارها لتصريحات مستشار الرئيس الأمريكي للشؤون الإفريقية، مسعد بولس، التي اتهم فيها القوات المسلحة بقصف مستشفى الضعين التعليمي في شرق دارفور.
وقالت الخارجية إن هذه الاتهامات أدت إلى تضليل الرأي العام المحلي والدولي، وأضرت بجهود تحقيق السلام والاستقرار في البلاد.
وأضافت أن تصريحات بولس تفتقر إلى الدقة والموضوعية، معتبرة أنها لا تخدم سوى أجندة ما وصفتها (بالرعاة الإقليميين للمليشيا الإرهابية).
وأكدت الوزارة أن إطلاق مثل هذه التصريحات "على عواهنه"، بحسب تعبيرها، يُخرج بولس من دائرة النزاهة والحياد، ويدخله في دائرة التحيز الواضح ضد القوات المسلحة السودانية.
