Sudanese voices Mon/10th of May [Sudanese voices follow up] The Federal Humanitarian Aid Commission has issued a formal decision to decline the renewal of the Sudan Scholars Association’s registration as a voluntary and charitable organization, with Acting Registrar General Osman Abdel Rahman Khojali citing the provisions of the Voluntary and Humanitarian Work Act of 2006 and noting that a review of the association’s constitution revealed inconsistencies with legal requirements that place the entity outside the commission’s approved classification for humanitarian organizations.
