In a statement issued today, March 17, 2026, the Committee for Dismantling the June 30, 1989 Regime and Recovering Public Funds announced its return to active duty.
The Committee reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the dismantling of the former regime's structure and recovering looted assets for the benefit of the Sudanese people.
The Committee clarified that the decision to freeze its activities following the October 25, 2021 coup (lacks legitimacy)
It emphasized that the resumption of its work comes amidst the current war, which it claims was ignited by elements of the former regime in an attempt to return to power.
Key Highlights of the Statement:
Leadership: Resumption of operations under the chairmanship of Mohamed al-Faki Suleiman.
Legal Action: Judicial prosecution of leaders of the National Congress Party and the Islamic Movement, both inside and outside Sudan.
Asset Recovery: Tracking financial and organizational networks to reclaim stolen public funds.
Financial Suffocation: Cutting off funding sources for organizations linked to the former regime.
Media Confrontation: Countering media platforms are accused of promoting "disinformation."
Exposure: Uncovering organizations and fronts acting as arms of the former regime.
The Committee stressed that achieving security and stability in Sudan is impossible without completing the dismantling of the June 30 regime and removing empowerment (TAMKIN).
IT called upon the Sudanese public and the forces of the December Revolution to unite to fulfill this mission.
Furthermore, the Committee announced its openness to cooperating with regional and international bodies, pledging to keep the public informed of all developments regarding its work.

في بيان صادر اليوم 17 مارس 2026، أعلنت لجنة تفكيك نظام 30 يونيو 1989 واسترداد الأموال العامة عودتها لمباشرة مهامها، مؤكدة التزامها بمواصلة تفكيك بنية النظام السابق واسترداد الأموال المنهوبة لصالح الشعب السوداني.
اللجنة أوضحت أن قرار تجميدها عقب انقلاب 25 أكتوبر 2021 “لا شرعية له”، مؤكدة أن استئناف عملها يأتي في ظل الحرب الراهنة التي قالت إن عناصر النظام السابق تقف خلف إشعالها في محاولة للعودة إلى السلطة.
أبرز ما جاء في البيان استئناف العمل برئاسة محمد الفكي سليمان ملاحقة قيادات المؤتمر الوطني والحركة الإسلامية قضائيًا داخل وخارج السودان تتبع الشبكات المالية والتنظيمية واسترداد الأموال المنهوبة تجفيف مصادر تمويل التنظيمات المرتبطة بالنظام الساب مواجهة المنصات الإعلامية التي تروج لما وصفته بالتضلي الكشف عن المنظمات والواجهات التي تعمل كأذرع للنظام السابق
وأكدت اللجنة أن تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في السودان لن يتم دون استكمال تفكيك نظام 30 يونيو وإزالة التمكين، داعية جماهير الشعب وقوى ثورة ديسمبر إلى التكاتف لإنجاز هذه المهمة.
كما أعلنت انفتاحها على التعاون مع الجهات الإقليمية والدولية، مع التعهد بمواصلة اطلاع الرأي العام على تطورات عملها٠
